Top-five fastest cars in the world

You probably thought to yourself a couple of times, “What are the fastest cars in the world?¨¨ Well, your question will be answered in this article, along with how much these cars cost. along with their prices

#5: Pagani Huayra BC Roadster

This Italian car is a beautiful vehicle, which is powered by a powerful V12 engine. The car is capable of going 230 mph and has a 0-60 time of just 2.7 seconds. The engine can produce 789 horsepower in the base model. The engine was designed by AMG Mercedes, which is known for making other supercars, such as the Mercedes AMG One and the Mercedes SLS. Shockingly, this is the most expensive car on this list, coming in at $4 million. More information can be found here: Pagani Huayra Roadster BC First Drive: When Too Much Is Just Right

#4: Koenigsegg Gemera

This Swedish-made vehicle is the fastest electric car on this list and in the world. It has three electric motors, which allow for a top speed of 249 mph and has a staggering 0-60 time of 1.9 seconds. A unique thing about this car is that it's a four-seater car, so you can go almost 250 mph with your family in tow. The car has one big door that opens to reveal all four seats. If you want to own this electric monster, you will need at least $1.7 million. This car is the future of supercars, being electric and somewhat practical with its four seats.

#3: McLaren Speedtail

This car is definitely one of the most unique on this list. The first thing you probably notice about it is the obnoxiously long back end. This isn't just for looks; it's actually there to help with aerodynamics and make the car go faster. The engine produces 1,036 horsepower, which helps it go from 0-60 in 2.9 seconds and go 250 mph.

#2: Bugatti Chiron

Bugatti is best known for making fast cars. The Chiron is the successor to the Veyron, which previously held the record as the fastest car in the world. Like the Veyron, the Chiron packs a quad turbocharged W16, in this case producing 1,479 horsepower. The Chiron can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 2.4 seconds and can reach a top speed of 261 mph. For safety reasons, it is limited to 261 mph but can go much faster. The price of this car is nearly $3 million.

#1: Bugatti Chiron Super Sport

The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport is a modified version of the Chiron. Even though it looks a lot like the base variant, this is a much different car from the original model. Powered by a quadruple twin turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine, it produces a whopping 1,600 horsepower and 1,180 lb-ft of torque, making this much faster than the original model. The car was tested at the Volkswagen test track and it hit a mind-boggling 304 mph. If you want to go this fast, you will need to have $3.8 million. The thing I find most impressive about this car is that it is more than 40 mph faster than the second-fastest car.
