Marion Nebab is currently a senior at Middle Creek High School. She participates in a variety of school clubs, such as Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), Pediatrics Intensive Care Unit Club (PICU), Math Honor Society, Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA), and the Creative Arts Magazine. Although factors such as school work and college applications have kept her busy, Marion always makes an extra effort to be an active member in the clubs she's in. "I honestly like being a part of a wide variety of clubs," she says. "It makes me feel more present in the community, as well as getting to meet other potential friends."
Outside of school, Marion enjoys hobbies like reading graphic novels and webcomics, drawing (specifically with paper and pencil), writing songs on her ukulele, as well as watching YouTube for up-to-date info on video games and science events. Her proudest accomplishments are the last two songs she has written, titled "Birthday Rain" and "Lost to You." Both songs were written to express her emotions about different aspects of her family and personal life.
After high school, Marion plans to enroll in a four-year university to pursue a medical career. As of now, she's debating between going into pediatrics or child psychiatry. Marion wishes to pursue these occupations because she "really likes helping people", and she's "good with children."
Marion has greatly enjoyed her time as a Middle Creek student. "It's been a great experience. Even if I went through struggles during the pandemic, I still had lots of people to push me through. I was also able to learn a lot of things in my classes, albeit some of them being very difficult."
Based on what she has learned at Middle Creek in her coursework and extracurriculars, Marion is excited to begin the next chapter of her life at college, especially looking forward to meeting new people and spending time honing her talents.
