Officer Brandon Perry is the school’s new resource officer. Here is a little information about him to get to know him.
When asked where he is from he said, “Muskogee, yes like the song.” The only school he could be assigned to at first was West Lake Middle School. After being there for around six months, a slot opened up at Middle Creek so he transferred here.
Why did he want to be a school resource officer? “I thought it would be fun to be around and talk to a bunch of different kids and possibly steer some of the ones going the wrong direction the other way by sharing some of the calls I have been on with them.”
So far, he has enjoyed the school and getting to know the students here. In his free time, Officer Perry likes to go to his kids’ sports games, woodworking, and cooking. He is also in the Marines.
When speaking to Officer Perry, he was a nice guy and very welcoming. He was a great guy to talk to. He is always in the school and very willing to talk to students. He wants to invite students to meet him.
“Anyone can come by my office and talk whenever they want.”
