Best and Most Expensive Shoe Collabs

Shoes have been around for a long time but have evolved into popular brands like Reebok, Nike, Air Jordan, Vans, Fila, Under Armour, Converse, and others. A current trend in shoe fashion is collaborations between big brands and celebrities.

For example, Travis Scott collaborated with Nike to put out six different shoes. My top-5 Travis Scott collabs are as follows:

1. Travis Scott Dunks Lows

One of the best features of this shoe is using rope as laces. The shoe has a bandana pattern and an unthinkable colorway of cactus brown.

2. Travis Scott Air Jordan 1s

These shoes are suede and come in brown with the Cactus Jack logo on the side.

3. Travis Scott Air Force 1s

The shoe comes with a customizable Nike swoosh and a basic dirty-white colorway.

4. Travis Scott Air Jordan 4 Oilers

The reason this is in my top-5 is because it's kind of hard to pull off that shoe unless you have black or cargo pants. The shoe ist dark blue with a red logo.

5. Travis Scott X Nike Air Max 270s

This is a different, unique shoe that few people have. It’s made of suede and leather with colors of brown, light creme, and mica green. It has a gold midsole that is a bit bulky but very easy to pull off.

In addition to the Travis Scott collaborations, other artist- and movie-inspired collaborations have been released.

Freddy Krueger Dunk Low SBs

Only 30 pairs of these were made and sold at $180 retail. Now they carry a resale value of $30,000, even if they are a worn pair. They come with a taupe and chrome colorway with blood-like colors on both sides of the shoe. Freddy Krueger’s iconic sweater colorway is wrapped around the shoe with his textured skin on the inside.

Nike MAG Back to the Future

Modeled after the famous shoes from the movie, these became an actual shoe on October 4, 2016. With an original value of $9,000, which is now up to $25,000, only a few of these self-lacing shoes were ever made. It is now considered the second-rarest shoe.

Air Jordan 4 Eminem Undefeated 4s

A used pair of these sells for $24,500 because of the materials used and their limited availability. Surprisingly, they never really had an official release, although Eminem released to his friends and family a military colorway.

Off-White & Nike Collaborations

Off-White collaborated with Nike to design several shoes, such as the Jordan 5 Sails, Jordan 4s and Air Force 1s, all with prices over $2,000.
