If you’re looking for authentic New York Style Pizza, then Brothers Pizza of New York is the slice for you. From everything from a Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza to Margarita* Pizza, you can bet that the Brothers have got it. Located in Millpond Village, they’ve been serving scrumptious Italian cuisine since November of 2013. Ever since that fateful day, Brothers has been pulling in not only an abundance of Wake Tech students, but a vast majority of Middle Creek High Schoolers as well. With that in mind, let’s figure out the single best slice money can buy from the brothers themselves.
I started my journey of pizza enlightenment by going to Brothers to see how good their pizza really is. I listened to my soul and ordered a Barbeque Chicken slice with two garlic knots. I absolutely loved the speedy service paired with the awesome authentic atmosphere. The pizza itself was anything but greasy and had a phenomenal thin crust. The interesting thing they did was they put the BBQ sauce on afterward so it wouldn’t mess up the pizza’s consistency, which was a beautiful touch.
However, that’s not what everyone's heart tells them to order. To truly figure out the consensus, I created a table to document everyone's preferences and nail down the students of Middle Creek's single favorite slice. In my research, I found that almost every student had a different preference from the student quizzed prior. Senior Owen Hayes stated, “My favorite pizza at Brothers has got to be the Old Country Pizza. The mushrooms and olives make the pizza a little more adventurous which is what I look for.” On the other hand, varsity baseball player Cooper Chasse explained, “Chicken bacon ranch is my favorite by far. They do a great job not adding too much ranch so it doesn’t overpower the pizza.” Even though Chicken Bacon Ranch won the popular vote, I received votes for a variety of pizzas, proving that Brothers caters to the people and provides scrumptious pizza no matter the flavor.
