Shawn Mendes is a Canadian pop singer and songwriter who was born on August 8, 1998, in Ontario, Canada. Shawn Mendes’ career started by creating Vines and that attracted a huge amount of following and views. In August of 2012, 14-year old Shawn Mendes made a Vine of himself singing Justin Bieber's ¨As long as You Love Me.¨ The following day, he checked his profile and found out he received a whopping 10,000 likes.
The talent and passion he has, along with his huge fan base growing so fast, led to him receiving a record deal. During his concert, you can expect an incredible light show with added lights in the crowd. His setlist is great, his energy is unbelievable, and the audience is on fire. He does not disappoint when performing, as it shows he does not lip sync.
At an early age the song that caught my attention was “Stitches.” The first lines of the song that got me introduced to Shawn Mendes are, “Your words cut deeper than a knife, now I need someone to breathe me back to life.”
Shawn Mendes is most known for hit records like ``Treat You Better¨ and ¨Stitches.” He has also won over 120 awards in his career, which include some of the most popular awards given to an artist.
