Demon Slayer is a Japanese series based on Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy whose parents have been murdered by the demons who roam the area. The only one of his family members who survived was his sister, Nezuko, but she turned into a demon. Tanjiro’s dad was also a demon slayer; however, he died before Tanjiro’s family was murdered because he was sick.
Demon Slayer came out April 23rd, 2021, and its manga came out February 15, 2016. If you enjoy reading then you'd be interested in reading the Demon Slayer manga since there's multiple books for this series. The manga does include more details not included in the series. The Demon Slayer series currently has 2 seasons, with the second being released on October 10th. This anime is easy to keep up with, especially when compared to Tokyo Ghoul.
Some of Tanjiro’s cool highlights were the battles he fought against demons and when he joined the Demon Slayer Corps, where they have ranks based on the tasks they do. To join the Corps,they have to survive on a mountaintop filled with demons for seven days without help from the outside world. Tanjiro’s best battle was when he fought the spider family, killing the spider mom and Rui. Tanjiro had to fight for a while against Rui and appeared to be losing the fight until he got the chance to decapitate Rui.
Overall, this is a good Japanese anime to start watching if you're interested in exciting shows. Tanjiro is still looking for a cure to turn his sister back to normal, and we won't know how it turns out until the end of the second season.
